Wet UFH vs Electric UFH in a Liquid Screed
Both can be embedded in a liquid screed, but they behave very differently on running cost, response time and which rooms they suit best.

Wet (hydronic) UFH circulates warm water through pipework laid within the screed, usually fed from a boiler or heat pump. Electric UFH uses resistive heating mats or cables laid at a shallower depth, drawing power directly from the mains.
Both can be embedded successfully in a liquid screed, but the running cost, responsiveness and ideal room size differ enough that the choice shouldn't be made on installation cost alone.
