Industrial floors aren't residential floors that happen to be bigger. The loads are heavier, the flatness tolerance is tighter, the coatings are more demanding, and the pour has to be scheduled around a working site.

We pour industrial liquid screed across the South West for warehouses, trade parks, MOT bays, distribution units, workshops and light-manufacturing facilities.

Sizing an industrial pour

DutyTypical spec
Light storage / office40mm Cemfloor over insulation, FM3 flatness

Wet processing / chemical exposureCemfloor + epoxy coating build-up

What industrial pours demand that residential ones don't

  • Racking-leg point-load design — spec the mix against calculated loads, not defaults
  • FM-rated flatness surveys so racking installers don't reject the slab
  • Coating-ready surfaces — profile matched to your epoxy or PU spec
  • Programme integration with steel, cladding and mechanical trades
  • Access strategy for pump trucks around live yard traffic

Running an industrial pour

  1. 1

    Duty survey

We walk the site, get the racking layout and forklift specs, and lock down the design duty.

  2. 2

    Mix design

Cement-based liquid screed selected against load and coating spec — no anhydrite here.

  3. 3

    Prep

Insulation, DPM, edge foam and any embedded services checked. Datum pins to FM tolerance.

  4. 4

    Pour

Volumetric pump for continuous flow. Passes crossed to avoid cold joints on very large slabs.

  5. 5

    Cure & coat

Protected cure, moisture readings signed off, then coating contractor mobilised.
