Solid-roof conversions

Liquid Screed for Conservatories & Garden Rooms

Old conservatory becoming a proper room? The floor is the first thing to fix. UFH-ready screed, tied into the house at the right level.

Conservatories originally built on a slab with tile straight on top rarely make good living spaces. When they get converted to solid roofs, the floor usually needs re-doing at the same time.

We lift the tile, add insulation and UFH, and pour a level-flat Cemfloor screed that ties into the house threshold.

Typical conservatory floor rebuild

  • Lift existing tile and screed
  • Add DPM and 100mm PIR
  • Wet UFH manifold in the house or in the room
  • 50mm Cemfloor pour, tied to house FFL
